DR ANDREA LARA OLIVEIRA
Veterinarian licensed by Universidade de Trás os Montes e Alto Douro – UTAD, in 2000, with the professional certificate nrº 2511, member of the Portuguese Association of Pets Veterinarians Specialists (APMVEAC). She has been pursuing her activity since 2000, having already integrated the clinical staff of some nationally renowned institutions. In fact, still during her degree, she worked in the Veterinarian University Hospital, absorbing all the pratical Knowledge and labour that she could, as she incorporated the Clinical Staff Helpers (CAA), specially in surgery environment and internement services, as the infeccious ones. She is the clinical director of CVL and her areas of greatest interest are oncology and surgery on soft tissues in companion animals. She has invested heavily in continuing her education at various levels, including participation in refresher courses and national and international congresses inside the EU. She is also the author of several publications in the area of veterinary surgery and oncology.
DR CLARISSE FERNANDES
Veterinarian with an integrated masters degree from Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar do Porto – ICBAS – in 2015, possessing the professional certificate nr. 6352. After her passage through Denmark, where she directed her activity to epidemiology and public veterinary health based on the concept of “One World, One Health”, whose research work carried out in partnership with a Danish organization was translated and presented in two international relevant congresses in the area. She was also focussed on providing veterinary public health services in Direção Geral de Alimentação e Veterinária de Coimbra. Presently she integrates the clinical staff of CVL, where she has the opportunity to develop her favourite area, that is the company animals’ behaviour.
DRª ANDREIA MARTINS
Veterinarian with integrated masters from Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias de Lisboa in 2016, with the professional certificate nr 6890. After her passage for some clinics and a reference veterinary hospital in Grande Lisboa area, she presently integrates CVL team, where she is preferably dedicated to her areas of greatest interest: imaging and internal medicine in companion animals.
DR. RICARDO ALMEIDA
Veterinarian licensed by the University of Trás os Montes e Alto Douro, (UTAD), with the professional certificate nr. 3465. He conducted several internships and courses in the area oh his greatest interest, orthopaedics, along with neurosurgery. At the moment, besides his residence in a veterinary clinic, he works with other clinics in the centre region. In CVL, he has been responsible for advanced orthopaedics surgery and neurosurgery since 2005.
DRª CAROLINA TAÍS
Veterinarian, licenced by Escola Universitária Vasco da Gama in Coimbra, in 2006, with the professional certificate nr 4061 and posgraduate by Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias de Lisboa in Veterinary Acupuncture since 2009. She has been integrating the clinical staff of CVL since 2016 and she is responsible for previously scheduled acupuncture treatments and appointments.
DR. CARLOS HENRIQUES
ASS. FLOOR TEN DOLLE
Of Dutch nationality, our Assistant possesses a vast language knowledge (Dutch, English and Portuguese), as well as in the Psychosocial area. She has been integrating CVL staff since august 2015 and since then she has demonstrated a natural capacity in the veterinary nursing, where she has invested much of herself, to get and improve her knowledge, attending courses, congresses and workshops with speakers of national and international renown.
ASS. RAQUEL LUCAS
Graduated in Tourism from Aveiro University, privileges work in public relations. She has been integrating CVL staff since September 2016. Assistant Raquel Lucas is responsible for the functioning of Vetargus – Arganil Veterinary Centre and she receives and welcomes our 4-legged friends and their legal guardians always very attentively , with dedication and love, trying to satisfy their emerging needs.
ASS. ELISABETE DUARTE
She found out very early her passion and motivation to love and unconditionally care for animals. After having finished her academic formation in the natural scientific area of secondary education, she worked as administrative and she managed to conjugate it with a part time as an office assistant in a veterinary clinic of reference in Coimbra. It is with great pleasure and pride that she now dedicates herself exclusively to her passion, acting as assistant in Clínica Veterinária da Lousã, thus accomplishing a girl’s dream.
